“It was a nice country setting, and very quiet. Its on a gravel road that had very little traffic. There is a pasture of goats behind the cabin, i enjoyed watching them. Every time i walked over to the fence they came running ,sticking there heads through the fence. Very cute baby goats.”

“Property was excellent and we enjoyed our stay. Very clean and nice. Our son was playing in a golf tourn in Bolivar and this property was a much better option than any of the nearby hotel options. We enjoyed all the extra space and extra bathroom as there were 4 of us staying. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area in the future.”

“This property was easy to get to, and tho there were other clients in the same building, it was totally private- we couldn't hear a thing. Owner checked in with us as we were unpacking, so it was nice to make the connection in case we had questions. ”

“We enjoyed all aspects of the property I just wish the pond had the moss cleaned up like in the add picture otherwise it was perfect ”

“This cabin is the perfect place to get away from it all, but in comfy conditions. We enjoyed breakfast and evenings looking at the lake and seeing turtles, birds, cranes, a bald eagle, and fish! The cabin has everything you need for a comfy stay. You are only a few mies from town, but it seems like you are further than that. Definitely pick up groceries in town because you will not want to leave to shop. I wish we had time to eat / shop at the Rustic Duck beside it, but time just not permit……

“Quiet location in small town. Stayed for 3 nights while attending the races at Lucas Oil Speedway over Memorial Day weekend. Beds and furniture very comfortable. Everything as described in listing. Well stocked kitchen. Has AC but didn’t need it while there. Reasonable check-out instructions. ”

“What a wonderful stay! The cabin was just adorable! It was so very clean, and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. We were visiting with family nearby and this cabin was our little sanctuary at the end of each day. A wonderful place to recharge! ”

“Beautiful setting on Appleton City Lake. Cottages are right on the lake and it was fun to wake up to the mist rising from the lake, rooster crowing in the distance. Later enjoy sitting in the sunshine and watching the ducks and sparrows on the lake, also heard some cows mooing. Just enjoy the fresh country air! Rustic Duck restaurant was very accommodating too. ”
