. Front desk was a touch casual. The staffer, a woman talking to a friend over the counter, smiled at me but did not indicate she was interested in my check in. Other than that, she was nice enough. I had to remind her of my pre-request for a lower floor. She then checked and, sure enough, found a first floor choice.
. The room was SPECTACULAR--and would STILL be a value at a much higher price (say, $150) than I paid (under $50, total)!
. The surrounding area was wonderful. The place was not squeezed in by other establishments--one neighbor motel is adjacent, but WoodSpring is self-contained and feels private and quiet.
. The lobby is tiny--and the counter looks almost like those of a post office. However, overall, WoodSprings, at this location, is a fairly pretty place.
