“Really enjoyed my stay. Excellent hotel situation for me once located. Hotel and room very clean, loved the room and balcony. However I found the mattress uncomfortable as were the meager pillows. The forwarded information , how to access keys were incorrect and had to wait for the establishment to forward correct info whilst standing around outside, that was stressful. Eventually once I settled in my stay was on the whole really enjoyable .”

“Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hostel! Check-in und early Check-out war problemlos, das Personal sehr freundlich, das Hostelzimmer war immer sauber, ausreichend groß und schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Bett war gemütlich und schön groß; der Balkon etwas klein, aber besser als gar keiner und mit einer schönen Aussicht. Es war nur eine Nacht lauter im Flur/Nebenzimmer, was jedoch zu verkraften war. Essen hatten wir nicht dazugebucht, das einzige Nervige war, dass der Fernseher sich nicht……

“For a 1* pension hotel the room I had as a solo traveller was superb ! Good sized room, sink, fridge, and balcony was just perfect. Also the property has clearly been renovated as everything appeared new and the common WC/ shower rooms are very modern with a very hot power shower. Raphael and Carlos keep the property spotlessly clean and do a great job. I highly recommend Pension Alcala, but its best to try and book a room with a balcony ”
