“This was our first visit to Hawaii and we couldn't have found a better property to stay at. Secluded, quiet and well maintained. The River Cottage was so well equipped with kitchen ware, microwave, full oven, refrigerator and even Alexa for listening 🎧 to music at night on our Lanai. Paul the property manager was gracious and the cottage was immaculate. From this property, you are only five minutes by car away from Smith Family Farms where there is a 30 acre botanical garden and luau that runs……

“Excellent location to explore the island of Kauai! The bed was very comfortable, shower hot, great view, close to two small beaches and all of the amenities that made our stay wonderful!”

“We enjoyed our stay in this classic Hawaiian bungalow. It is on a quiet street, very close to the uncrowded Poipu Baby Beach. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the peaceful front lanai/porch. Great restaurants and shopping are nearby. Very happy with the house and the location.”

“This location is perfect. Right next to a wonderful walking/running path along the ocean. Near beaches. And the ocean view is great. There is construction and I did not see that until I had already booked it. They do tell you there is construction, at the very bottom tucked away. The pictures that are shown are extremely outdated. Again I like this location I just didn’t like the listing and how it wasn’t more apparent.”

“Comfortable, quiet studio with a pleasant view, lovely grounds and pool, well equipped, including the kitchen and beach essentials. We really appreciated the small cooler to take with us on the days we explored the island. Loved being able to walk to Spouting horn each morning, and walking across the street for sunset views. Would stay here again! ”

“Great location! Stocked kitchen even though we did not cook this trip. It was hot at first but was able to place fans to circulate air. Clean and spacious! Came with extra ‘stuff’ to enjoy the beach!”

“Great place to stay, with several places to eat or get coffee within walking distance. Free parking, beautiful view, comfortable place, accommodating hosts, what more could you ask for! We were able to watch wales from the balcony, bring binoculars. ”

“The property location is beautiful, close to beaches, shopping and the view is amazing. We saw pods of dolphins, and a whale from the deck! Not having AC is no issue and actually preferred by me, the winds were perfect to keep us cool. The living area is a tad small for 4 adults to hang out, one person usually spilled over to the bedroom off the living room, but fine for our short 4 day stay. Would definitely recommend.”

“This home was exactly what we were looking for! Cute, clean, private, close to an awesome beach, great hosts, all the amenities we could need! There were a/c units for my daughter who enjoys to cool off, but individual units in the rooms so I could embrace and enjoy the fresh natural air!they had books, beach equipment, a Ukelele, and lesson book, and an outdoor shower for after the beach! The hosts were prompt in responding and very helpful! It is rare that I enjoy staying places longer than a……

“It is very short walking distance to the Coconut Marketplace which is a big plus. Convenient location to both the north and south sides of the island. Property grounds are near immaculate. Awesome view. ”
