“Came to Elkader for a quiet stay, not disappointed. Katherine and Michael were excellent hosts, unit 1 exceptionally clean and cozy. Hotel quality linens, modern unit with homey touches. Loved Michael’s breakfast in the morning. Ate dinner at St. Olaf Tavern, would recommend, short drive from Elkader. One block to Turkey River, nice areas to sit along the river. Elkader has other good restaurant options right in town.”

“Nestled in the cute town of McGregor this apartment was a win for our family. The kids were excited to stay above a sweets shop. We were all impressed with the decor and furnishings, like a step back in time! Check in was easy, the entry way with little brochures and an Iowa map was nice. They had a little welcome snack of microwave popcorn. The space was very neat and tidy. Kitchen was fully stocked making it easy to cook. Plenty of linens. The view was wonderful. The kids liked watching the……
