Did not like that early Saturday morning we got a call from the front desk tell us the fire alarm in the room was going off. That did not set the tone for a great day. Apparently, it was silent on our end and when I asked if we needed to do anything, we were told no. ”

“The arrival instructions need to change. There is a much easier way to get to the address. Also didnt know about the gate house, stumbled apon that after getting lost in the park. We checked in with the guard. The contact ended up having to come drive us to the cabin because we couldnt find it. The cabin was nice, comfy, clean. Had all items you need. Didnt give it an excellent rating due to instructions. We wasted a lot of time trying to figure things out.”

“I was presently surprised by this hotel! I was expecting something rundown and dirty because it is a Comfort Inn. But even though it’s older, it’s extremely well kept! The king size room we had was very big and spacious. Very clean and the staff is very accommodating. I was there with my service dog. 3 minutes by car from downtown Blue Ridge so the location is great as well. And our room had a view of the mountains. Will definitely be back in the future! ”

“The staff were so helpful and gracious. The bed in my original room was elevated as was the bath. They very kindly switched me to a different location so that I could avoid all the up-and-down movement with my knees. This was a great place to visit with dogs. Hiking, sitting by the campfire and resting near the big postcard window were memorable and relaxing ways to pass the time with furry friends. ”
