“We loved our weekend at Whimsy in the Woods. I could have spent the entire time gazing out the floor-to-ceiling windows at the woods, birds, and deer. The house was so well stocked - with k-cups, coffee, tea, spices, toiletries, kitchen spray, trash bags, everything you could think of - and our host added some extra special touches like leaving us the makings of s’mores. The hot tub was lovely, the fireplaces super cozy, and the loft was perfect for the kids.”

“Cute property with easy access to our Conestoga wagon. We stayed for two days and loved it. Horse drawn buggies going by all day, nice little creek right next to the wagon. Very peaceful. Kathryn was very accomodating and promptly responded to my emails. We have twin 13 year old boys who are more like high school size and they enjoyed the bunk bed. We would definitely stay again.”

“This was a lovely retreat for myself. Having different options to sit outside was beneficial and i especially liked looking over the hill by the bedroom while enjoying the dawn and dusk sun. I appreciated the amenities and spacious areas. Though i noticed it in the pictures, i was surprised by no curtains on the windows, especially over the bedroom glass door. The area is private but no way to block out the sun. ”

“This was a MAGICAL long weekend in the most beautiful clean well kept fantastic cabin!!! We kidnapped my mother and whisked her away to your amazing home. “We chose this location so my daughter and son in law could attend a wedding at the Elizabeth Furnace and not be far from their newborn. It was just 5 minutes away! Upon arriving we were just blown away with the beauty of the home (more like an estate!!). We were able to settle in nicely and enjoy the local treats the host left for us. We spent part of our time shopping for bargains at Green Dragon Market and New Holland to visit Shady Maple. The host’s amenities—laundry soap, toiletries, family……
