“This is not a hotel you want to take your wife to. It is okay for a man on his own but it did not meet my expectations. The staff was friendly. Check in was slow and tedious since I had booked through Hotels.com. The total cost was more than quoted because they charged a service fee for using a credit card. The room itself was clean but the carpet was dirty and the sheets were dirty on one of the two beds. We were supposed to have a room with a queen bed. ”

“We were so lucky to have found this unique stay less than a couple hours away where we could have lots of adventures in and around the Flint Hills. The silo was beautifully converted and our kids had so much fun exploring the grounds and nearby creek. Thank you for sharing your property with us. We hope to come again (when it’s a little less cold and windy).”

“This cabin is our happy place. This is our second visit and we enjoyed the updates including the footbridge, paths, and lookout stand. The hosts have thoughtfully provided all the amenities we needed for a stress-free getaway. We enjoyed using the firepit, grill, and even the DVD player. I already miss drinking my morning coffee on the wraparound porch. We can't wait to schedule our next visit! ”

“Beautiful and comfy little cabin with a great view of the lake. We had a wonderful time fishing and driving around the lake. It was cold and windy, so we did not use the kayaks. Great dock. It is very close to town, which has a grocery store, many great eating places and a great thrift store. The refrigerator is a small dorm fridge with no freezer. There is no internet available at the cabin, but there is a TV with a blue ray DVD player. The cabin is on the same property as the owners and……
