“Our family had a nice stay at Charlie’s Woodside Getaway in June 2025. It’s close enough to all the action in Wisconsin Dells, but wonderfully secluded and serene. Everything about our stay was seamless, from booking to check-in, communicating with the property owner, and checkout. The cabin is well appointed and adorable. “Very nicely decorated log cabin/house complete with everything needed for an enjoyable stay - even had doggie dishes for our pup. Blinking lights around the pines out on the deck and driveway were a great touch. Great setting in the pines, next to the river. Wished there had been steps down to the river, even rustic ones (instead of the steep bank/slide) but I'm sure there was a reason why not. “This was a beautiful new place, right on the river. Accommodations were exactly as described in the listing. Everything was brand new and in wonderul condition. Most comfortable bed I've slept in outside of my own! My only complaint: the owner visited the connected shed 6 times in our 3 night stay. It did feel excessive. He was super nice and did communicate before showing up, but still. Overall it was a great stay though. Would definitely come back!”
