Las casas son acogedoras y confortables, combinando un estilo rústico minimalista que mantiene la esencia del Alentejo con detalles que hacen la estancia aún más placentera.En invierno, el calor de las chimeneas acompañado de un buen vino crea un ambiente único. “We stayed just 2 nights but would happily stay much longer. Paul was an excellent host and gave us a tour of his cork forest and explained the process of harvesting cork. He also gave great recommendations for walks nearby. The pool is gorgeous and lovely to be woken by sheep grazing amongst the olive trees. Accommodations are traditional farmhouse - steeped in history. Kitchen had everything we needed. We will be back. ”

“Great modern apartment in old town next to Plaza de Espana. Easy walking everywhere. Tourist office is a few doors down. Great tapas bars close by.Only complaint is the shower has mildew and needs better cleaning!”

Consejos a mejorar: renovar lavavajillas; renovar mosquiteras; mejorar mobiliario de la cocina; añadir lavadora; limpieza del interior de la casa (es una casa de campo, pero se pueden quitar telarañas de las ventanas y rincones).”

“Nuno was great to deal with. Gave us recommendations for dinner that turned out great. The only negatives were a hard bed and not much hot water for showers.”

O único aspecto menos positivo é a irregularidade da pressão da água nos duches, um problema partilhado em toda a aldeia. Comunicação com o proprietário e check-in excelentes. “This was a unique experience for us -- staying on a cork farm. The setting was stunning - the views amazing and you will truly get an authentic Alentejo experience. Note that is it not close to Evora, so keep that in mind. That said, I don't know that we've ever met a kinder and more welcoming host. Not only did his welcome us to the property, but he gave us a tour of his cork farm and explained the harvesting process -- it was such a personal touch and so fascinating. We just loved it. The……
