After reading some reviews, my expectations were low, however I was pleasantly surprised with the exception of the strong smell of smoke in the public areas. I asked that they put an air ionizer in our room before check-in, and they did do that as our room smelled fresh when we entered. The room was clean, but slightly dated. Carpets seemed newer and clean.
The breakfast was indeed continental as advertised, but not great. Prepackaged cinnamon rolls were very cold. I ate my breakfast in the room because of the smoke smell in the breakfast area. The staff was friendly.
If you plan to stay, I would definitely recommend requesting an ionizer before check-in, since there are smoking rooms on every floor, so there could be some smoke smell drift even though your room is non smoking.
