“Dowds' Country Inn was beautiful and picturesque, and charming in that way that only old buildings can be. The sign was very difficult to read at night, but once we found the place, we loved it. Just beyond the inn parking lot you could see a beautiful herb and vegetable garden. The entryway was beautiful and inviting. My partner and I entered the lobby and found it warmly lit, with a sign expressing regrets that no one could be there to greet us (we were arriving late at night). On the front……

“Loved having water / coffee stations on each floor! We liked the location being outside the town center & enjoyed being right on the river. It was pleasant & relaxing to sit on the balcony and just enjoy the view. We hope to return one day! TIP FOR HOTEL — People who just want hot water are having a difficult time figuring out how to make the machine do hot water only. — They could really use a sign with instructions.
