I used a third party website(Expedia) to book a room online and was able to complete the booking and payment for the two day stay. I received confirmation of my booking from Expedia, then received confirmation of my booking from the hotel,Travelodge by Wyndham Enid and was even offered to complete a pre-checkin online for more convenience once I arrived at the hotel which I completed, however once I arrived there I was told by the agent at the front desk that they were completely booked up and had no availability, I was also informed that I would have to call Expedia to recover the payment I had already made for the two day stay! So I then called Expedia and was told I would have to wait 7 to 10 days to get my money back once they contacted the hotel and got confirmation! Absolutely ridiculous! After 3 hours of talking on the phone with one agent after another my call was eventually handled by a supervisor who assured me that once she made contact with the hotel, which is what took so long because she couldn't get them to answer the phone, she would put my refund order in for the hotel to refund my payment that same day, so thank you to Expedia for their help, however I am extremely disappointed with Travelodge for this major inconvenience due to lack of communication with third party apps their company uses and unwillingness to provide any assistance to resolve the matter, very poor customer service!
