“We enjoyed the deck at El Refugio. The beds were also comfortable. Nice location and view of Ensenada. 4 stars on cleanliness because there were a few really dirty spots (top of glass over stove and top of fridge) where a simple damp sponge would have done wonders. Hot water appliance also failed and was tricky to get hot water. But we were able to contact on-site person and owner and everything resolved to our satisfaction (I was able to take a hot shower). “This is a five star property for sure. The host is very good on communication. The property is very roomy and clean.We came down for the Baja 500 the courtyard had plenty of room foe our two chase trucks and race car, water pressure is good and hot water works!! “Definitely a great place to stay it was clean, beautiful, spacious, organized and we felt welcomed by all staff! we loved it. If you plan on staying here you definitely will not regret or be disappointed. Be sure to stop at the local grocery/ Mercado for oil, Butter, hot sauce, ketchup and seasoning if you plan to cook there. Other than that everything was provided and in great standing. Thank you!”
