“The Grey Owl was a precious surprise! We (3 adults) had the best room, Melody's Roost, and it was spectacular! Stained glass decor, massage beds (!), a sleeper sofa with privacy screen--it's listed for 5 but it could sleep 4 adults and 2 well behaved small children on that sofa bed. The tub and shower in the master bath are epic. The room was quiet, and the grounds were gated so parking felt as secure as my home garage! Teresa greeted us and was so sweet! She gave us the full tour and……

“My family stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed the rental—it provided us with most of what we needed and also was convenient to the activities we wanted to do while visiting SSI. We knew in advance that laundry isn’t in the unit, so while it would’ve been helpful to have in the unit, we decided upon booking that it wasn’t a dealbreaker. I was glad that I messaged the host while packing to inquire about beach towels as they are not included in the rental so we ended up having to bring our own. ”

“My friend and I spent 4 days at this property in St. Simon's Island for some rest and relaxation. The location was wonderful; across the street from the beach and within walking distance of the lighthouse, pier, restaurants and shops! The property was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend to the property owners to provide just a little coffee (k-cups) so guests do not have go in search for that first cup of coffee in the morning. Sitting on the porch having coffee in the morning and wine……
