“Ideal location from ferry terminal and easy to find. After a long journey from the UK, this was exactly what we needed. A friendly welcome from Nicos, who then made sure we had everything we needed. The views and breakfast were amazing. The room had lots of homely touches and the toiletries sublime (esp. the honey shampoo). Nicos help the following day to make sure we saw the 'Upstairs town' was invaluable and a place we would certainly return to. ”

“The hotel and staff were excellent and did try to accommodate my food choices (I’m vegan ). Generally I think more vegan options could be made available now we are in 2024 and vegans are more common. Even non vegans choose plant based sometimes. Anyway the hotel was lovely. We did feel under pressure to leave at 11am precisely at check out time but did appreciate the lift to the port area. I would recommend this hotel highly however. ”

“This gem of a hotel on the waterfront of Syros' main town, Ermoupoli was a delight to stay in. If you want a Greek island in the Cyclades, which is virtually tourist free, Syros is the answer. The rooms were clean and well appointed and the staff service was superb. They responded cheerfully and helpfully to any request for assistance. “Really loved our stay at Hotel Omiros. It's a very charming heritage building with an amazing view of the harbour. The staff were all wonderful and very helpful. Pros: 1. Very close to town. “We loved our stay at 1844 Suites from the beginning where we got a great history lesson about Syros right to the end where we picked up our bags (but didn’t want to leave). Kostas was an amazing host and the woman who cleaned our room was the sweetest. The room was great and so comfortable. We really enjoyed the patio as well. If I could give this place an 11/10 I would! We would not hesitate to rebook in the future when we return. ”
