“Amazing place to rest our bones while visiting the area! So comfortable and clean and beautifully appointed set in a park like setting with access to the garden. Wish every host was as gracious! Very near walking trails and fishing streams.”

“The Bothy was a lovely place for a break away. Quiet but close to Moffat and beautiful walks all around. Karen was a wonderful host along with her dogs Suzy and Radley. Communication was quick and helpful. We loved the wood burning fire in the evenings. Thank you Karen for letting us enjoy The Bothy. Will definately be back in the future.”

“Needed a good clean and some serious maintenance - especially the bathroom floor. Few lights not working control for oven broken also . Lovely hottub and surroundings. ”

“We arrived late so it was dark. When we woke up Saturday morning the views were sensational. The campsite has six glamping pods which are well spaced so you do not feel on top of each other. Right off the main Moffat to Selkirk road but far enough back you do not hear a thing. Definitely recommend and will visit again.”

“The cottage was spotlessly clean, thanks to Vita (who works for the Estate), who also could not have been more welcoming. It is in a beautiful setting on a working estate not too far from Hawick and the many special places to visit in the Borders. Cannot recommend highly enough.”
