“It was all wonderful, but the thing that stood out most was the incredible staff. Josh, in particular, went so far out of his way to be kind and helpful to a couple of newbies (us) who had entirely too many questions and had done far too little research about the island before arriving. Thanks, Josh! Oh, and the food! If you try nothing else, have the seafood chowder. The best I've had anywhere, and I'm a chowder fanatic. We will definitely be back once we get a few other bucket list trips out……

“Our stay at Victoria House was Excellent. We chose the starfish apartment which had its own entrance in the front, with beautiful views of the waterfront. The manager was super supportive and accommodating when they realized one of the bathrooms was not working. He reached out before I landed on the island and gave my family and I an extra adjoining room to accommodate for the missing bathroom. The rooms were all beautiful, beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful as well. The……

“Money well spent!! The resort was beautiful!! Gorgeous beaches and grounds, with clean rooms. Very quiet and relaxing. I was unsure about staying here after reading several reviews, but decided to take a chance on keep the booking. We were well pleased with this resort, and every negative review we read was false. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone interested in visiting St. Croix.”

“This property is so lovely. We love smaller boutique hotels and this one was perfect. It has a very private balcony that looks out over the ocean. We were supplied with utensils and dishes for 2, glassware, coffee and creamer and a bottle of wine. The hotel checked with us in the morning of arrival to see when we would be coming. The place has two bars and a restaurant (make reservations before going!) It is also walking distance from 3 restaurants on the water and great snorkeling at Cane Bay.……

“It was a very pleasant stay. The area is easily accessible to the entire island. The view & breeze was great to just lay back and take in. Slept like a rock. Excellent for relaxing after a busy day. The host/management was very responsive, friendly and helpful. Internet was stable enough for video conferencing. Cell reception ok. You should rent at a minimum an AWD to move around the island. Many roads are in dire need of repair/upgrade across the island. Taxis and public transportation is scant……

“This place is fine if you are using it as a base to explore the island. It is not a place to hang out and relax. My top floor ocean view room was great. The ac worked and the bed was comfortable. But the property is run down from prior hurricanes. But it 1/3 the cost of other properties so you get value.”

“I really wish I could rate higher than 5 stars for my stay here. Every single person that works here were literally the sweetest. There’s so much to do and it’s right on the boardwalk. Noise level can be a bit much on Sundays, the beach at the Hotel on the Cay right across from the hotel seems to be the hot spot on Sundays. ”

“T treated my family to a short weekend stay at the Kay and it was lovely. The beach was beautiful and the bar alive with guest. The room was spacious enough to enjoy the beach weekend and had the basic essentials for our short stay. However, the old-empty water fountain & pool outside were eye sores, obstructing out view of the beach. But overall the beach was beautiful and for a short family stay the price was not too bad. ”
