This was a wonderful place to stay for a reasonable rate. The hot tub was great, rooms were clean, and the staff was available and helpful.

When we first arrived, I was very happy! The room was perfect for our family of 4. It looked clean and the person at the front desk was very nice. But then I noticed water was dripping from the ceiling. Again, the front desk was very nice. The man said he’d call maintenance. We left for dinner and came back again. It had gotten worse. The man told us they couldn’t do anything about the leak because it would mean shutting the water off for the whole building. He gave me towels. We went to bed. I woke up to dripping noises. Part of the ceiling had fallen down and water had soaked through the towels, all over the floor and part of the carpet! The manager wasn’t available but I was told someone would get back to me. We ended up packing up and leaving at 8am because I didn’t want to wait for more of the ceiling to fall down. We didn’t have anywhere to go since we hadn’t planned on leaving before checkout. That was SUNDAY. I’ve contacted them TWICE and still the manager hasn’t gotten back to me. It’s now FRIDAY. I tried to be patient and understanding and waited to write my review, hoping I could give a better one for good customer service. But waiting all week for a call is ridiculous. I’m giving 2 stars because the location is great and the view was nice. But I do NOT recommend staying here.

The lodge was in very convenient location in Estes Park with mountain views from your window and sliding door. Parking is very convenient. Breakfast did not have lot options but it can get your day started.

The rooms were larger than I expected, and were extremely clean. Looks like it’s kept very up-to-date. We also had an issue with Expedia over booking out stay with four rooms instead of two. There was quite a bit of confusion, and they were able to refund The overbooking, which was much appreciated. Would go back to this place in a heartbeat!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our orginal room wasn't ready when we checked in but they were very helpful and gave us another room. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a beautiful veiw.

Very rustic, but very clean and quiet. The entry driveway needs improvement and signage. Breakfast is skimpy, no meats, only the basics. The steps from the parking lot up to our room 304 are dangerous. Concrete needs repair and need handrails on both sides.

The staff was incredibly accommodating when it came to my request to help store flowers for a wedding I was attending. I really appreciated their flexibility on a busy holiday weekend. The location was good, it was walkable to the downtown but not the nicest walk right as you exit the lodge. The room is nice but definitely could use updating. The complimentary breakfast was ok not great but it was free! Otherwise, the room was very comfortable and a good size. The staff was great!

Cute hotel! Stayed with my hubby and tweens. The rooms are huge, beds are comfy. The bathroom doesn’t have any place to put towels or toiletries. A little shelf or table would make a big difference. Otherwise it was fine for us.

We paid for a premium room through Expedia but were provided a standard room instead. The counter staff said there was nothing they could do, to reach out to Expedia or the manager. The walls were super thin, you could hear the people talking next door and above. The beds were really hard, there was gum stuck on the top of the night stand and plastic shoved in a hole of an old adjoining room door.

Front desk staff was very nice. Hotel is dated, but it was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so didn't get a chance to take advantage of the complimentary continental breakfast. There is a small pond for fishing, a nice fire pit with a grill, a small play area with swings and a slide for little children and disk golf and horse shoe. We saw a family of elk on the property the first night which was cool.

Downtown shops are very close by. Breakfast consists of cereal, muffins, packaged waffles, boiled eggs,etc. Rooms are spacious and very clean. They have an area to grill and elk joined us for dinner!

Booked a mountain room with a view and got a parking lot view. Although you could walk out the door a few feet and see the mountains. The hotel is older but in great shape. Comfortable beds and the room was large. Old tiles in the bathrooms which I do like. Nostalgic. Staff was very nice. Convenient location to downtown. Just a short walk. Would stay again.
