The hot tub was dirt and the jets were broken and the sauna was broken. I asked for help with this and was told "I'll contact someone" and no one got back to me. The hot tub and the sauna were the only reason I chose that hotel.

It is very important to know that if you book through Expedia breakfast is NOT included as stated. Also the price through Expedia was quite a bit higher. Next time I would go directly to the hotel. This place is a gem. It simply needs some upgrades and better cleaning of the pool area. They could also use new comforters on the bed. But it was quiet, and homey. They even had a pool table in the lobby. Views are beautiful.

My biggest complaint will have to be that the room was not cleaned. Sheets were dirty, pillowcases were dirty. I requested for clean sheets, and it was hung on the door handle on the outside of the room. Dirty face towels from previous visitors were left on the shower curtain bar. We stayed two nights and room service did not come the first day to offer and clean the room; however, on the checkout day they were on the door at 8am!! Check out is 11am, we were up till 3:30 am, so we did not appreciate the wake-up knock at 8am. Property is beautifully located right by the ocean and light house plus pier to crab. That was the only plus.

Loved the view from our room. What we could see of it anyway. The windows were dirty. The floors were sticky. And the place could use some updating. Also wash the curtains in the hallways. Lots of noise echos through the hallways into the rooms. It did it’s purpose but I won’t stay again. Also the homeless people living on the beach in front of the hotel was a big turn off.

The room was borderline disgusting. The chair next to the bed was filthy. There was stain that was so deep in the chair when I flipped the cushion it had soaked through to the other side and even in the material underneath. The bathtub was also unsettling, the mat on the bottom of tub was ripped in half and there were orange stains on the bottom of the tub. My daughter did not want to stay the night.

This was our 3rd time staying here and there was nothing much to complain about, except one thing: you ought to re-design your balconies so to provide some privacy for your guests. Our stay was constantly interrupted by the next door neighbors who decided that it would be convenient to carry on a personal conversation (loud and clear) on the phone, over the balcony, and constantly looking at us through the wooden trellis fence as we tried to enjoy the ocean view. This is very poor design and an intrusion of privacy for your guests in general. We ended up having to close the door and just enjoy the view from inside. What is the point of paying extra for a balcony that you can't use?! Otherwise, good reception, good area, good hotel. Nothing else to talk about.

Beautiful view of ocean, pet friendly, pool and spa, trails to beach and lighthouse. Park nearby. Skatepark. Beach nearby to surf, restaurants and stores near by car. Close to state and national park. We loved our stay.

Nice location for viewing, right on the ocean front. Restaurant was good. Property itself is disappointing and rather shabby; not like the pictures. Balcony was small and didn't feel the sturdiest. Ended up leaving and not staying the two nights because our neighbors were drunk and very loud and it wasn't going to stop. We just cut our losses and left.

The Good: • Gorgeous ocean and lighthouse views, plus easy access to the beach and tidepools. • Great location: Crescent City is within an hour’s drive of stunning spots. • Comfortable bed. • Affordable pricing. ❌ The Not-So-Good: • No housekeeping for my entire 3-day, 3-night stay. No fresh towels, no linens, and our trash cans were overflowing. Never even saw a housekeeping cart the whole trip. • The room felt dirty and sticky—definitely not comfortable walking barefoot. •clothes leftover from another guest in the dresser drawers. •bathtub jets were grimy and unusable. • Hair dryer didn’t work. • Some outlets in the room and bathroom didn’t work. • The in-room coffee didn’t fit the coffee maker, so it couldn’t be used. • The chair had a visible layer of grime. • All surfaces had a sticky feeling. I Clorox wiped them down. • One bathroom towel had a squished bug carcass in it. • The mini fridge froze everything, and there was no way to adjust the temp—no visible dial. • Room was dated and poorly maintained. Lots of signs of wear and tear—things cracking, crumbling, and dirty. • Balcony ‘privacy’ screens are lattice-style, meaning you can still see your neighbors. ❓ Would I stay here again? No. I’d rather find cleaner, more comfortable accommodations—even if it means staying outside Crescent City.

THE VIEWS. We loved waking up to the ocean view, waves crashing and the lighthouse in the backdrop. Having grab and go snacks, wine and beer was so nice. The rooms were very spacious.

This is the 4th time we have stayed, and always enjoyed ourselves, however this time we had extremely rude people above us making a lot of noise until 3am. It wasn’t constant therefore the guy I reported it to couldn’t hear it after he came upstairs. This was not his fault. Just very frustrating that I didn’t get much rest.

A perfect view with a disappointing stay. Staff was nice and very helpful with what they had to work with. The hotel could use a lot of upgrading. The toilet ran and wouldn't flush very good. The faucet in the bathroom would only stop if you turned the handle to a certain direction. The TV was the worst, only streaming on Roku. We tried to watch programs and halfway through they would lose the connection and never come back. No live broadcasts at all. Very disappointing when you want to watch live sports. I guess they are too cheap to have cable or satelite. With the price of the rooms and no complimentary breakfast it is one place we won't return to.

Run down, filthy property and rooms. We checked in and checked out in one hour, and found another hotel to stay at. The rooms are dirty. I could not have slept there overnight.

Everything was great except the morning we left the cook didn't show up so they didn’t serve breakfast. Not even coffee. It’s great being right on the beach.
