“My room features a kitchen equipped with an oven, a living room with a comfortable sofa, a TV, and a dining table. The bathroom is large and modern. There's also a second TV in the bedroom, both of which can sync with my iPad—perfect for cozy movie nights. The location is very convenient, being close to the train station and right next to the exhibition centre. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it a fantastic place to stay.”

Starting with the positives:
Firstly, the room’s amenities were quite good, the room was clean and tidy upon arrival.
Secondly, the guesthouse is located close to Bonn’s city center.
However, there were a few challenges:
First, upon arrival, there was no staff to greet us, so we were unsure how to enter. Thankfully, another guest helped us enter the building and our room.
Second, we had to park quite a distance away and carry our luggage……

“Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem zimmer und der Kommunikation. Alles hat sehr gut geklappt. Das einzige beim Buchen des Parkplatzes wäre wenn man die fahrzeuggrössen nochmal angibt. Denn dies wird beim buchen nicht angegeben und unser Auto kam gerade so ins parkhaus. Vorallem da die parkplätze übereinander sind. ”

“Die unterkunft war nicht ganz sauber, die wände sind dünn und man hört die zimmernachbarn leider durch. Nino der Zuständige vor ort war super und sehr bemüht. Das war top. “Preis-Leistung nicht gerechtfertigt. Wir waren 8 Nächte da und hatten gebeten, nicht!!! im Erdgeschoss untergebracht zu werden. Leider waren wir direkt neben dem Bürgersteig und beim Lüften wurde ständig reingeschaut. Die Nutzung der kleinen Küche war nicht möglich, da direkt über dem Kochfeld der Rauchmelder installiert war. Ein Schild am Herd verwies auf eine Strafe von 1500€, wenn der Rauchmelder ausgelöst werden würde. Man solle nur mit Deckeln auf den Töpfen, bei offenem Fenster und mit……

“This is honestly one of the best stays not only on this trip, but that I have ever had. The area is gorgeous. The hostess was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. I wish our schedule had not been so packed; we would have loved to have chatted with her longer. The room was absolutely spotless. The distance to the Nürburgring was perfect. My favorite part, however, was the stunning Corvette that greeted us upon arrival. We will absolutely stay here again!”

I recently stayed at IBIS budget hotel and was very disappointed with my experience. Unfortunately, there were a few aspects of the hotel that made my stay less than satisfactory.
Firstly, I was surprised to find out that the hotel required a deposit for the use of a hairdryer. This seemed unusual to me, as hairdryers are a standard amenity in most hotels. Additionally, the bathroom lacked any sort of curtain or door, which made it quite awkward and uncomfortable for my family. This lack of privacy was a major inconvenience and made the bathroom feel very exposed.
Finally, the room itself was incredibly small, with barely enough space to move around. This made it difficult to unpack and relax, and it felt quite cramped, especially with my family.
Overall, I would not recommend IBIS budget hotel for families or anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. The lack of privacy in the bathroom, the deposit required for a hairdryer, and the cramped room made for a disappointing experience.
