“An excellent place for a honeymoon, anniversary trip or respite retreat. It's not just a place to stay, it could be your ultimate destination. The location is very private and peaceful. The hosts were excellent communicators and the cottage was very clean and well-equipped. For summer-time visitors, even though the temps were in the 90s, we enjoyed spending much of our time outdoors on the deck thanks to it being well-shaded and equipped with an outdoor ceiling fan. We ate all of our meals……

“This property is “ down the dirt road” it overlooks a arm of bull shoales lake, it was super quiet and super relaxing there isnt much around that is close just a few neighbors. This place is perfect for a couple looking to relax, get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. It has a huge deck over looking the valley, and part of if is screened in. It was perfect for what me and the wife was looking for. ”

“My family (husband and two teen boys) stayed at Andrea’s well-appointed cottage for three nights/four days. The setting of the cottage is amazing. I spent hours on the deck watching the river and the variety of birds, including a bald eagle. Andrea is the most thoughtful host I’ve encountered. Not only is the cottage immaculate, she has thought of every detail in terms of what you may need to make your stay comfortable. Towels, headlamps, binoculars for bird watching, a variety of magazines……

“My wife an i stayed at the house for a long weekend. It was centrally located for all the activities. It was very peaceful, remote and still just minutes from town. It was decorated with so many things that you really needed to look twice to notice all the details. Dee(the host) was exceptional --she went out of her way for us--thank you again!! loved staying here and plan to return in fall for all the colors of foliage ”

“Nice short trip but would stay here again when we come back. ”

“We loved staying on this property. It felt like we were staying at our Grandmas house. It was very comfortable and welcoming . My husband and I loved learning the history of the Pruitt family. We would try to figure out who was in the pictures on the wall. Access to the river and creek were wonderful. We would love to go back in the summer and utilize the swimming hole. Definitely a great place for family. ”

“Great place didn't know it had a lower floor kids loved that part. Great stay and close to everything we wanted to do plenty of clean towels and rabbits outside. Awesome stay. ”
