“We stayed with two teenagers who wanted to explore Sequoia National Forest. The house was perfect for us and had everything we needed. We prepared food and also walked across the street for one very good meal. The entrance to Sequoia is very close. After we checked out we drove through Sequoia National Park to Kings Canyon National Park and stayed an additional night at the John Muir Inn then left through the northern exit of Kings Canyon.”

“This is an excellent property to stay at. Quiet, beautiful surroundings, friendly locals. It was a very relaxing week we spent there. Every accommodation I could think of plus more. It was truly a home away from home. ”

My daughter completely enjoyed the backyard with the river right there. The house was warm and comfortable. Location is great, super close to the National Park. Host was a great help and friendly. “I had to get out the city and wanted to explore Sequoia National Park without having to stay in some touristy hotel. This house was better than perfect. It was the right amount of secluded while also be close to restaurants and shops — and right next to Sequoia. Spending the day at the park, surrounded by tourists made coming back to this property to relax on the riverbank in seclusion and peace almost made the house itself the primary attraction of this trip. 11/10, would book again. ”

“Fantastic getaway! The cabin is deep in the mountains in the best way possible. Close by to the park entrance (Sequoia), quiet, and has everything you need to rest and recharge with nature!”

“The house had everything we needed for our visit to Sequoia National Park. The area was nice, quiet and private. There was enough sleeping space for our group but the beds are very uncomfortable. The house definitely needs some work and updating. There was stickers on the sliding glass door, smiley face stickers on all the cabinets, part of the cabinet was broken off, sink in the bar area did not work and the upstairs of the house is unbelievably hot with no way to adjust the thermostat.
