Beautiful house and location
House had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, view was amazing, fireplace was easy to use and wood plentiful. Decently outside of town but easy to get to with 4wd even in January. Views of the northern lights plus we had moose visitors! We'll be back.

Well appointed, comfy house with Auroa views!
The house is well appointed (plenty of spices and cookware!) It is also spacious with plenty of storage.The beds are comfy. We especially appreciated the no stair entry and handicap accessible first floor bedroom that also has beautiful views. Most exciting was how wonderful the views of the Northern Lights from the house. There was no need to book an Lights tour. Norman was an excellent host, very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Our family had the best trip and the house was perfect.

Norman’s place was awesome. It was very clean and perfect for our family of 8. The view from the front yard was great and we were able to see the aurora the last 2 nights. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. We would definitely rent again.

Magical vacation
When we booked this home it checked all of the boxes of what we were looking for in a vacation rental. In real life it exceeded our expectations. The home is inviting and cozy. The amenities are excellent. The location is great. Felt very private but not far from the airport, restaurants, museums and town. Perfect for a family vacation. Norman was very responsive to my questions prior to our stay. He also checked in with us a few times during our stay. As an added bonus we were able to experience the Northern Lights from the yard instead of in a crowded setting. Thank you Norman!

Beautiful Home, Owner is a Delight!
You cannot beat this home for a group our size, or larger for a stay in Fairbanks. We had a group of five friends and the four bedrooms with private baths worked perfectly for us. The home has so much character due to its furnishings and we were greeted by the Owner with open arms. He was very informative, thoughtful, kind, and always available when we needed to ask a question. He made our stay very easy and we felt like we were home. We had a wonderful surprise with the Autumn colors and were stunned by the beautiful valley views from the upstairs bedrooms. We look forward to a return stay in the future. Alaskan Family Adventure
This home sits on a hill with amazing views. I have never seen a more lovely home...it's simply breathtaking. So tastefully decorated. Our 3 adult children each had their own bedroom and bathroom which is very unusual, along with the master bedroom and bathroom. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen was so cute with everything we needed. We sure hate to leave our home away from home. Thank you Norman!

House was good from the aspect that all rooms had their own bathrooms. Unfortunately the house needs a total deep cleaning. I had to clean the bathroom in the room with two queen beds. The tub had hair and hadn’t been cleaned in who knows. Garbage can was full as well. The whole house needed cleaning from top to bottom.

Very comfortable home for 6 adults (three couples). Stayed cool when hot and warmed up quickly when cold. Owner was attentive and helpful. Beautiful view from small lawn. All essentials in place to cook meals. Nicely furnished.

Perfect for our family gathering
Our aging family gathered in this beautiful home in a beautiful location having a stunning view. It served as home base for daytime exploration of the Fairbanks area, and as a venue for games and story swapping. We all return to our various homes carrying memories and warm hearts. One bedroom is easily handicap accessible, and the others are up stairs.

Excellent stay
We were in Fairbanks for our daughter's wedding. The Knoll House was perfect for our group. It was a quiet refuge in the evenings for the group to unwind. We were able to stay together and still had the space for privacy. If we were to do this again, we would definitely stay at this property.

Relaxing getaway
This was our second stay at the Knoll house. We enjoyed it the first time and weren't disappointed this time. Just far enough from town to provide a country feel but close enough to Fairbanks to enjoy all the local activities. Norman was a very interactive host with a wealth of knowledge about Alaska. The knoll house has 4 bedrooms and each bedroom had an on suite bathroom. All the amenities of home were available. We would definitely stay again.

AK Girls Get Away
My friends and I enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and organized. It was nice having the first floor bedroom to accommodate my friend who has trouble with stairs. The house was very roomy and with each bedroom having a bathroom there was never an issue. Also, having the nice big table in the kitchen gave us an area to hang out at the end of the night to enjoy some wine and chat. The view from the property was breath taking. Host was very quick to respond to our questions and stopped by to make sure everything was okay. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it - just be sure to rent a car.

Great cabin
Great cabin for 2 families or one big family. The house had everything we needed and grocery stores were close. Norman was available by phone and just down the road. Loved that all bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. The wood burning fireplace was really warm and cozy.

Northern Lights
The property was in a great location, not far from the airport or town but felt like we were all alone in the wilderness. My husband and I traveled with 2 of my sister-in-law’s, so 4 bedrooms with each having their own bath was great. The kitchen is well stocked with various spices and cooking needs. I would say that you should check in before going to the grocery store, the cabin has a lot of the necessities already there. We stayed 7 nights and were able to see the northern lights from the cabin on 4 of those nights.

Don’t pass this one up!
Four couples stayed here for nine days. It was absolutely perfect! It is in a convenient location, close to all things Fairbanks, but secluded with no neighbors on top of you. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, firewood was plentiful, and we enjoyed the sled. Norman, the property manager was pleasant and helpful and checked on us several times. If we make it back to Fairbanks we will definitely stay here again!

Family Trip
Norman's cabin was perfect for our family trip to Alaska. The cabin was 100% as shown. There were 6 of us traveling together and it was great to have our own rooms with private baths. The location was great for exploring the area. The cabin also has an amazing view overlooking Fairbanks. Great driveway for sledding if you visit in the winter. Delightful Winter Stay
We loved our stay at Knoll House. Cozy and quaint property just a short drive outside downtown Fairbanks. We all agreed it was one of the most well-stocked homes we’ve ever rented before which speaks to the host’s hospitality and care of the property. Amazing perk to have a bathroom in every room. Host greeted us the day we arrived and made us feel welcome and let us know how we could reach him if we needed anything else. Thank you! Highly recommend this group friendly rental. We look forward to returning to Fairbanks and hopefully staying again!
