“We enjoyed our seven-night stay in winter 2025. The hosts were friendly and the place had all we needed; we especially liked spending time in the kitchen, with its big window overlooking the Chena River. ”

“Had to find another place to stay at 11pm because we arrived on a late flight (5 hours after check in time) and the apt. was still in the middle of being cleaned (beds unmade, laundry in the washer and on the floor, cleaning supplies in the bathroom, all the cabinets open, ect). There was no one there. It was like they just walked out in the middle. No response from the owner for almost 24 hours. We were given a refund. Not the best start to our vacation.”

“Very clean, very convenient and everything you need to explore Fairbanks and the surrounding area. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you need, including a lovely snack basket provided by the hosts. Danielle and Jack were very responsive.”

Cabin was an excellent jumping off point for seeing the Northern Lights, being north of Fairbanks with less light pollution and near Cleary Summit, but still close enough to town to go out to dinner. The Turtle Club is literally within walking distance and Fox General Store is right down the street for last minute supplies. Overall this is a good deal if you're looking for somewhere to sleep and a home base for exploring the……
