“Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing! She gave us suggestions for food and attractions to visit. She told us to call anytime for anything. She was so very sweet and friendly. A jewel she is. ……

“I can't say enough great things! This little cabin was so peaceful, exactly what my dogs and I needed! The place is old but well maintained, just what you would expect in a mountain cabin! The yard was cut and easy to walk my dogs in! There is a fire pit and grill, we didnt use them because my one dog is older and gets cold easily. The location is superb! If you want to check out the activities to the north, easy! Same with activities to the south! We got in 3 good hikes over 2 days. Karen was……

The little black bear camper was the best sleep me and my husband had ever had in our lives, the phones were off but that was perfect because we didn’t want any distractions. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. Having the coffee shop right next door made breakfast and lunches a breeze with two little ones. The decor is a mid century modern lovers dream.
