“We had a very pleasant overnight in Athol, and even had a magical snowy morning. Bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen missing a few things like oven trays and some other bits and pieces, and oven was a big older etc. but overall comfortable with very peaceful surrounds.”

We had a pretty busy schedule of activities so did not spend a whole lot of time at the house but was very comfortable when we returned from a busy day and needed to unwind and sleep. Ian was very helpful with his communication about his property and was good at suggesting things for us to do prior to our booking and arrival. We were very pleased with our the house and area that we stayed in, very quiet and beautiful!”

Duncan has thought of everything a guest might need - comfortable beds with high quality linen, masses of fluffy towels, well appointed kitchen. Fast WiFi, efficient A/C and heating. We loved it. Perfect for two people as a base to fish the surrounding rivers and explore Mavora Lakes. ”

“The place is wonderful with two bathrooms and a great view. We were here with four adults and one toddler, which was great. Our toddler explored the place and loved it (lots of space to roam). The floor heating in the bathrooms was great in the morning. We had a fantastic time.”
