“The space and area are just as described in the listing. It's about a 20-min drive to access cell service, so if the internet is down, you're back in the 90s. :) There is a land line in the house. Our stay was so peaceful and the stars are amazing at night! Highly recommend! ”

“My wife and I celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary at this delightful cabin. The hostess was very prompt in responding to any questions we had. When we arrived check-in was easy, the code given opened cabin on the first try. We entered cabin and were welcomed by lovely lights on fireplace! The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom was clean and welcoming. The back of cabin had multiple seating areas near the creek. It was a great place to stay. ”

“A cute, cozy house within minutes of so many adventures. This was our first booking outside of staying in hotels and it was a perfect start! “This property is absolutely gorgeous. We arrived 2 days before my daughter’s wedding in Rye. The house was clean, beautiful and had all the necessities. The hot tub was a great feature along with the smoker grill, gas fireplace on the back porch, and the fire pit! The property owner was very responsive and the house directions were clear. The distance to Brush Canyon Ranch was perfect. The view of the mountains were amazing. This property is a MUST!!”

“Blue Elk is an excellent stay. Vrbo and especially Tracy, the host, were helpful in making reservations and preparation. The site has all the appliances and supplies of home in good working order. The location is breathtaking. We loved the wildlife (although watch out on the road!) and (mostly) quiet, cool weather in late July, but warm blankets too. A great time had by all.”

“The location was perfect for our sibling reunion. Out in the middle of nowhere beautiful Colorado. With little distractions and lots of family time. The cabin has everything we needed with plenty of room for 6 people and a hideaway loft that the teenager loved. We ventured to the town of West Cliff about 20 minutes away. Small town vibes shops and food. Bishops Castle is a must see, check out their website to learn about the history. It is amazing! Philip and Tammy friendly and accommodating……
