“The property is in a beautiful area away from things. It offered so many things for us to do. The kids LOVED the kayaks and lilypad. Kitchen is well stocked with things needed for cooking. The rooms were comfortable. The TVs are older and do not have many apps, which could be an issue for some. The wifi is hella spotty and in the evenings we just connected our hotspots. “The cabin was amazing; very clean with everything we needed for our brief stay. A great re-model by the owners. Close to the Sipsey Wilderness/Bankhead National Forest where we enjoyed hiking. We fished off the dock at the cabin and enjoyed the beautiful view of Smith Lake, one of our favorite places to be. Near Chef Troy's Talk of the Town restaurant, very good food and service. Just a suggestion for the owners-you may want to mention the driveway being very steep and rutted. We were in a 4x4……
