“From beginning to end, could not have dreamed of a better island getaway, in the Berkshire’s none-the -less. Bill was a wonderful host. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. Super welcoming. The home was simple, quaint, and super cozy. Perfect for a nice long relaxing weekend for both the dogs and people. The views from the sun room were lovely. The deck/patio area had a beautiful view of the water. The fire pit was a nice perk in the evening. Surrounded by water, the place felt so private.……

“We had a wonderful week exploring the area with family. Lakes, ponds, and waterfalls galore. Great food (try Tallow in Millerton, The Black Rabbit in Lakeville, and The White Heart Inn in Salisbury). A perfect home base, cozy with all the amenities, and thank goodness for AC as the beginning of the week was unreasonably warm. Everything was wonderfully, just as described. Thank you!”

“Cheryl’s place is a lovely cottage near the lake. We loved everything they did to make our stay more enjoyable, from many pairs of water shoes (definitely helpful for swimming!) to folding chairs, floats, and many different coffee-making options. We also loved the wind chimes and napping bed on the screened-in porch.The swimming was good, although it’s a busy lake with many motor boats. We had some long swims and the water was warm / comfortable. It’s best to swim near shore to avoid the boats.……

“What a piece of heaven this fairy tale cottage is! A girls getaway and so needed. My daughter, her friend, and her friend’s mom had a most delightful trip. Girls are 13 and 14 years old and just the right spot for teens and their moms. We kayaked as a group, I went solo one time, and me and the other mom went at sunset. Incredible views of the lake, mountain, and the sweet Lily pads. All the neighbors were friendly. The cottage’s architecture was quite impressive. Beautiful wood throughout and……

“This was the perfect size cottage for 5 of us, with two rooms with queen size beds and one small room with a twin. The setting was very pretty, and the salt water heated pool was a good size and my grandchildren enjoyed swimming in it. We were within walking distance of the small town, and I would recommend staying there.”
