“What a wonderful place! So clean and with everything we needed. The extra touches— snacks, juice, fresh eggs— was so nice and we needed them! Love the location. Great bike riding and hiking. Close to Great Barrington for restaurants. Also, very quiet and peaceful.”

“We stayed at this wonderful house for family weekend at Berkshire School. The house sits on a pond in a beautiful location with large windows and patio doors so you can enjoy the view from many of the rooms. There is a large screened in porch with various seating options. The pond offers endless entertainment from geese, ducks, bald eagles and more! We enjoyed sitting out by the fire and listening to nature. It is a wonderful house and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful……

“The house was even more beautiful than the photos. Best hot tub ever, well-equipped kitchen (everything we needed and more), comfortable beds, quality linens and towels. I appreciated the labeling of light switches, as well. The owner responded to my questions quickly and graciously accommodated a few requests. I would rebook this house in a heartbeat the next time in the area. ”

“Loved the location, yard, outside areas and the charm of the old home. The property was clean but appeared that no one had been there is a long time so did not have that pristine "just cleaned" feel. Some pests (bugs) and the dishwasher was not emptied (still full from previous tenants). The most concerning issue was the unlevel flooring, the steepest, narrowest stairs I have ever seen and is a property that could be very dangerous for young and old. “Our family had a wonderful stay at the beautiful, clean, peaceful Hoyt House. There was plenty of space to gather together as well as spread out. The daffodils were beginning to bloom and there is the sight and sound of a running stream behind the home. We were close to fun things to explore like the Audubon, covered bridge, and Kent waterfalls. Great bakery, restaurants, grocery a short drive away. The heated indoor swimming pool was the biggest hit. We hope to have the opportunity to……

“Property is lovely and very well maintained. We stayed for over 10 days and it was a perfect home away from home. Owners are very kind and accommodating — when I couldn’t find a hair dryer one was delivered to the house within a couple of hours. They also offered to relocate us if we were bothered by the nearby forest fire, which was not necessary. I hope we’ll have the opportunity to stay again.”

“My husband and I came here for our 10th anniversary with our 9-year-old. The house itself is so charming and historic and cozy, with tons of space. We loved that there are two different stairways to the second floor, which has two parts not connected to each other. Kitchen and small table and seating area are delightful to spend time in. We had a gorgeous fire in the family room in the evening. Best of all are the grounds, huge and gorgeous, green and serene, with a lovely pond. Communication……

“This house was perfect for Alisha’s bachelorette party. The amount of beds and 3 bathrooms all with showers was perfect for 10 girls staying in the same house for the weekend. The whole house was so clean. The kitchen is huge. It was perfect for our taco & margarita night! The pond views from the back deck and living room window were amazing. So much wildlife in and around the pond, huge fish, geese with babies, bull frogs, turtles, orieles. We enjoyed the back deck and fire pit. The pool……
