“When we (6 adult female cousins) arrived, there was a complication completely out of the blue that could not have been anticipated by the owners. The response was wonderful! They came to the property every day of our stay to provide for our unexpected needs. The cabin itself is beautiful! Well stocked kitchen (we cooked a lot!). Comfortable beds. “Me and my mom stayed with our dogs while working on our property nearby. The views were spectacular, especially watching fireworks in the valley below. Perfect destination for Fourth of July or just to get out of town and enjoy some tranquility. First time I saw fireflies since my childhood. Highly recommend visiting.”

“This cabin was perfect for a girls weekend birthday celebration. All of the kitchen basic necessities were supplied and better than expected. The firepit was used and provided firewood appreciated! The hot tub was perfect…and the view was amazing! Definitely recommend this beautiful cabin. ”

“We picked the location because it is right above the wedding venue for a family member’s nuptials. Very pleasantly surprised! Location is EXACTLY as pictured, clean, well kept and a delight to the senses!The beds were so incredibly comfortable, we drifted off to quiet slumber. “I have stayed at a few of the other homes in this area for work. This one has the best home for the cost. Just be aware that this home is on the mountain side so it is hard to travel to and from town if it snows or ices. Other than that it was a great place.”

“This was our second visit with our family. We enjoyed it so very much!! The views off the back deck are amazing and the coziness of the cabin just feels so warm and welcoming!! ”

“The place was great. My only complaint was that the gas heater was broken and i was not made aware until i contacted the owner. The other small heater was not warm enough to maintain the house throughout the night. ”

“Perfect cabin for two high up on the mountain for quiet and solitude. Setting is amazing! Everything that you need is available in the cabin plus a hot tub and very large deck with a screened in section complete with rocking chairs to sit and enjoy the view. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the cabin and also exploring the town of Morganton, the Catawba River Greenway, and a local cider mill. The owner was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!”
