“We only came into town for a wedding, but we loved the lakefront cottage! It's an older home, but it was well kept and suited our needs perfect. We're hoping to "jump in the lake" the next time we stay. Thank you Jeanne for allowing us to check in early...we look forward to our next stay!!”

“This was a great spot to stay with my wife, another couple, and my dog! The house is small - especially downstairs. But it is extremely well thought out and space is used as effectively as can be. Upstairs had 2 good sized bedrooms with king beds and a nicely renovated bathroom with a great shower. The house is located in a small, cute, and a bit of an unusual neighborhood. Very quiet. Very safe feel. But not too good for much dog walking and parking is super tight. Owner was very good with……

“The house on the lake is clean and very cute. A few things to keep in mind… The stairs to the loft are VERY steep and VERY narrow. So both adults and small children may struggle to get up and down, especially with any type of luggage. There are no closets or dressers for your clothes so maybe bring hangers and a hook for behind the door. Everything else was perfect. ”

“Beautiful cottage, spectacular property, wonderful hosts. Not sure what else to say? We came up to CT with our pup to look at areas we may want to move to. The cottage was perfect for us, nice and private and lots of land for our pup to walk. Great state park a few miles away and plenty of good restaurants nearby. Very happy!”

“Our stay was super easy. Not a far walk to the beach. Communication was super fast and easy as well! Only a slight musty smell in the big bedroom, but not enough for me to take off any stars. ”

“We were a little nervous upon arrival, it was exceptionally cold that day Dec 22nd, 2 deg at night ,and we were afraid it wouldn't heat up. However, between the heat pumps and the electric fireplace, it became toasty! Very convenient, 2 bathrooms great !We would definitely book again !”
