The hotel itself was great. Staff was welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and maintained. Breakfast was good (waffles/continental on weekdays, eggs and sausage on weekends). Please note that if you're a light sleeper or do not use earplugs, expect to have many disruptions throughout the night - people talking loudly right outside the doors, drag racing on the main road, noisy a/c, etc. This was no fault of the hotel or the staff (they really were wonderful), but it is something to be aware of.

This is a two-story old hotel with no elevator to the second floor. Even if your room is in the middle of the hotel you have to walk to one of the end of the building or the other and go up the stairs every time you go back to your room. In my room wall electrical outlets did not work and the shower curtain rod was hanging by one screw at each end And the curtain would come to the middle and flood the floor when you were taking a shower. The room was dirty. They didn’t clean it on Saturday. The refrigerator didn’t cool properly. When I went to get clean towels I was told that I had to bring them to them before they’d replace them. I told them they were supposed to do that themselves and was told that they don’t do that.Breakfast was watery eggs and disgusting sausage links.

It was actually pretty good for a motel. The staff was so nice, and there were so many walkable food options around. My room wasn’t the cleanest, but I already planned to use wipes to wipe down the surfaces anyway, so it wasn’t inconvenient for me. The free breakfast was also decent. It was definitely not bad at all and definitely got the job done for a short trip. If I was traveling there again, I would rebook.

Carpets need good shampoo and vacuuming. TV remote did not work; Front Desk Clerk found another one for me. Breakfast was mostly cold. Liked location of hotel and room was large and clean.
