“We enjoyed the apartments attached to the property. The room is spacious, kitchen well appointed, and clean. Parking was easy and rooms were quiet. We slept well every night. The only negative would be the lighting in the bathroom to shave or put make up on. The resort itself is in a great location just a couple minutes outside of town. The resort staff is wonderful. “Location was good, beds were comfortable but the apartment was just in need of some tlc. Sofa was broken and a chest of drawers was falling apart. “The place was in a great location if you want to be out of the a city with close proximity to Killarney, Dingle peninsula and Cliffs of Kerry. 15 minutes to Killarney, 10 to Killorglin, 15’to the beach. The house/pub itself is quite comfortable with everything you need. Great for a group of guys on a trip together The biggest drawback is that while Castlemaine itself is quite small, there is a lot of traffic that passes right by the house, so sleeping in can be tough if you are a light sleeper.”
