“This was the third time we have stayed at Chet's place. The location works well for us and the place is roomy and clean.”

“This property was overall good. It had an updated kitchen, a private hot tub and a new tub. Beds were comfy, TVs had plenty of entertainment and appliance overall cleanness was good. However the cleanliness of the home was hit and miss. Some areas were pretty spotless like the bathroom, while other areas like the pull out couch were full of crumbs. “This cabin was just as advertised. The road in is a bit steep, but the property itself is absolutely gorgeous, remote, and private - just what i was looking for. Despite the sense of isolation, food and basic necessities for a short stay are only a few miles away. Wifi connectivity was excellent, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the fire place made for a perfect rustic feel. My favorite part of my stay was the nearby ponds on the property and the chorus of wood frogs and spring peepers……

“The beautiful wrap-around porch with several different seating options was our first hint that we could all spread out comfortably. The 9 of us, including 2 toddlers and a dog, had plenty of room, whether in one of the many bedrooms, in the library, the dining area, or the family room. Over 3 days, we never tired of examining the old photographs and paintings that filled every room. We enjoyed reading a brief history of the property in the family's binder and discovering that George Washington……

“First, I wish I hadn’t had to leave as I’m jumping rentals. I had 2 dogs with me and appreciated the small town and the very close Ten Mile Creek park to walk my dogs. Necessities were available in kitchen with seating there and a dining room table. Nice goid sized living room, but TV is in a small room with a couch and coffee table. Stairs from this room to 2 connecting bedrooms (note you have to walk thru one to the other with slanted lower ceilings). Two baths are downstairs. One had only a……
