“We loved our trip. It was a very nice little cabin. Our only complaint is that we only got one piece of firewood. The welcome guide said we would get three bundles. I know we could’ve have called and they would’ve had them there. But it wasn’t worth the hassle for one night. ”

“Its a great place for a relaxing vacation. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Weather was beautiful so we spent most days outside and evenings by the fire. We have relatives in the area that came to visit. We all caught several fish. Drake was an excellent host. We will be back next year!”

“Being a person who loves simplicity and desires a space to slow down in a busy schedule, this precious cabin was the perfect place for me and my husband to stay. The view of the sunrise in the morning from the cozy front porch with my coffee in hand was refreshment to my soul. The cabin was perfectly clean and sweet and offered just the right amount of simplicity, while still meeting all our needs. We also shared the kindest interactions with the hosts. “We had a group stay here with family from Kentucky, Oklahoma, and Florida all able to come together in one house comfortably thanks to this home. Everyone had a great time at the lake house. We played cards, swam, kayaked, and paddle boarded. We made meals together in the well-equipped kitchen... We made great memories at the house. Thank you so much! ”

“This stay was my second stay at Country Cabin in Alpine, AL. this year if that says anything. Just like the first stay everything was perfect. We spent a day at Wind Creek Casino which is about a one hour drive away. On another day we went to Talladega Marksmanship Park and the next day we went gold prospecting in Talladega Creek and found several flakes of gold. The best part is how quite it is at the cabin and watching sunrises from the front porch with a cup of hot coffee. For a nice and……

“A slice of heaven on the lake. Our family was in the area for our daughter’s college graduation. We were able to spend the time with family and friends and relax out on the lake. Lots off activities to do at the house, from corn hole, to the arcade system for the kids, to the outdoor fire pit in the evenings. The owner was very responsive with communication and worked with us during check-in. Would book again in the future. ”

“The house at first seemed too far out of the way for me, but once we got there we loved the location by the river and with a dock to fish and swim from. We loved that. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfasts. It became a great base to visit Montgomery, Selma and Birmingham; along with visiting family in the area. ”

“We had a family wedding at a nearby venue and this house was conveniently located. We had several extended family members stay with us and this house was perfect with two king bedrooms and the large bunk room.
