“We went away for a weekend to celebrate my parent’s 50th anniversary. The house is simply stunning! So light and airy and beautifully furnished. And the view - surrounded by trees and birds and friendly magpies. Sitting out on the balcony was bliss. Rob looked after us very well and we all enjoyed feeding the cows. “Nice enough. Motel rooms are a bit basic and old, but you get what you pay for. Comfy bed and quiet (even though on a busy road). Just be aware a lot of tradies/road crews were staying when I stayed so lots of diesels starting up at Oh my god o’clock. Do yourself a favour and walk to the Highway Hotel for a weekday special. I went on Tuesday for steak night. Amazing!”
