“Our apartment was very modern but the property still has a very historic and, especially, authentic country feel. Very much appreciated the wood stove at that time of year. Only critique was lack of any American TV. While we don't particularly travel to Portugal to watch TV, when we stay in country places at this time year we don't relish driving after dark. Next time we'll know to have our tablet ready for movies.”

“I stayed at this beautiful place with my daughter and two sisters. We all loved the place. It was so cozy, spacious, and clean. It was also close to restaurants, shops, and the main attraction, the natural park on the Douro river.”

“We traveled to Fermiselle to trace my family roots as my great grandfather immigrated to Cuba from there in the 1920’s. To say that the manager was accommodating would be an understatement.
