“The photos and descriptions of the charming apartment are very accurate. The floor to ceiling windows lookout over a beautiful park and the apartment is very spacious. It’s a good location for walking the city to historical sites and restaurants and shopping. The host ombretta is a charming woman who has lived there all her life and made us feel very welcome. “We stayed for six nights, thoroughly enjoyed the well equipped, comfortable apartment in the heart of Ferrara. Short walk to many historic sites, cafes and restaurants. The train station is a 20 minute walk, making for easy day trips to Venice and Bologna. Doris is a lovely host, she responded quickly to our questions and check in/out was straightforward. “The flat is a great place to stay; super clean, great location (the K2 Gelato place nearby is to die for), and very spacious. A couple things: the rooftop deck is not a deck. It's a little landing that barely fits a bistro table and 2 chairs. You can't even lay out the drying rack to dry your clothes and close the door. Don't plan on relaxing with a drink or your morning coffee out there. There was 1 hand towel in the kitchen and no napkins or paper towels. It would be more helpful to have……
