“If you want a taste of true rural Ireland, this is the place to stay. The Thatch and the Shed are both beautiful, modern, clean and highly kept up. We used this property as our home base for day trips to Kilkenny, Callan, Waterford, Wexford, Glendalough, Blarney Castle, and Kilarney. ”

“Stayed for a family’s anniversary, such a lovely place to stay, had fresh scones and cakes with butter and milk for us on arrival and all the things we needed for a cup of tea or coffee. Well equipped with toiletries and lovely and warm. ”

“Insgesamt hinterließ die Unterkunft mit ihrer schönen und ruhigen Lage einen zufriedenstellenden Eindruck. Abstriche gab es lediglich in der vorhergegangenen Kommunikation mit der Agentur, welche über diese Seite schlicht komplett ignoriert worden ist. Ebenfalls als negativ ist noch der Warmwasserbehälter zu verzeichnen, welcher über dem Bett thronte. Dieser wird leider mit dem Nachbarhaus geteilt und erzeugt eine intensive Geräuschkulisse, sofern eine Dusche benutzt wird. Dazu gesellen sich……

“Nice facilities, well furnished and well kept. We were very comfortable. Only hitch was no internet in the house so working with a computer was not possible. connectivity for mobile was spotty. But we managed. And we had a comfortable stay. Owner was very nice and helpful. ”
