“Wonderful place to stay, and absolutely great hosts! My husband and I have stayed here two years in a row now for the Musselfest. Love it, and will stay again. ”

“Private cabin surrounded by cedars and steps away from the lake. Spacious great room with a cozy electric fireplace. Two big decks to enjoy the outdoors. My friend is recovering from surgery and this was a wonderful place to relax, cook, and just hang out. It would be even better in summer as two paddle boards and a small kayak are provided. ”

“This little cottage was perfect!! Everything was very clean and well-appointed. We loved the layout of the home and the beautiful view from the main room and the deck. The little area in back was just perfect to relieve my dog if we weren't headed out somewhere. The people, coffee, and bakery at The Commons were fantastic. We visited both historical schoolhouses on the island - a highlight! Thanks so much for sharing your magical space!”

I have stayed here twice before, and each time I left feeling rejuvenated and completely relaxed - this stay was no different. The hot tub is one of the best features of this home, and the views of Buck Bay and Puget Sound are absolutely breathtaking. We hiked through Mt. Constitution and enjoyed the Cascade Falls which was a magical journey. Anyone who has the blessed……

“A very deep cleaning of the bedroom window sills..had lots of mouse droppings and mouse hair..a health hazard. The toilet tank and bowl barely got cleaned. The counters and fridge were sticky and someone sprayed an entire can of air freshener to cover up what smell like smoke. Also the living room sofa is so bad..you sink down 6 inches..which gave us back aches. We sat on the dining chairs or the floor. The sofa cushions had lots of hair and crumbs..not cleaned. It appeared to us that the maid……

“The cottage was the perfect place for a wonderful get away on San Juan Island. Mary is a very creative artist and has decorated the cottage beautifully and provided absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The gardens are filled with fantastic flowers and the patio and view are a great place to enjoy meals. We hope to return soon!”

“We were beyond happy with our stay! This is not a new property, by any means, but it is well taken care of and has the most welcoming, comforting vibe! One appreciates the updates, while maintaining the original home. We stayed for a week, taking advantage of the unlimited outdoor activities of the area. But it was always our pleasure to return to our window on the bay for rest! The neighborhood was so quiet allowing us to enjoy the sounds of the birds. We would be more than happy to book……

“The place was perfect for our family of 4. I read other reviews that if you have Verizon you would have great signal and hot spot if you needed it which was true for us. As part of your stay they provide three bundles of firewood, smores kits, coffee, cocoa, and tea. A definite plus, which we took full advantage of. Fire starter and lighter sticks also provided. Place was clean, well decorated and had all the necessary amenities. Just enough space between cabins which gave the right amount……
