“Every staff person we encountered from check in, breakfast, to check out was lovely. This is a family run hotel and the care taken is evident. We were there at a quieter time and they have us a complementary upgrade. The room was fantastic, great views, it was pristinely clean and the bed was comfortable (a king size no less!) Breakfast was amazing- some buffet pastry type things plus your choice of individually prepared omelets. We really enjoyed Lixouri, it is quiet and low key, but……

“What a fantastic find! These maisonettes are fabulous. Lots of space with a kitchenette, table, decent sized bathroom and a mezzanine. Didnt use the mezzanine but would be ideal if you were travelling with children. Patio outside was lovely with table and chairs, a huge parasol and a lovely corner rattan sofa. Pool & pool bar were part of the Palatino Hotel but able to be used by the maisonettes. Both were spotless with plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The kids pool was under the bar roof so……

“Anthemis Living Apartments is one of the finest places we have stayed in when travelling in Europe over the last 20 years. The place is beautifully built and maintained. The service is like in a five star hotel, immaculately clean, with a lift and the rooms are tastefully furnished with a very comfortable large double bed. Beautiful views from the balcony down to the waterfront. Easy parking just outside the building. A perfect base for seeing the island, driving to nearby beaches, a ten minute……
