“Filicudi is a wonderful island for hiking and diving. We liked the Filicudi Porto accommodation, but it is different than described, not a private holiday apartment or holiday home, but part of a semi-detached house. Professionally rented through an agency. The terrace shown is shared with the neighbors. There is only a canvas stretched between them. Privacy is different. We had nice neighbors and therefore a real shared apartment feeling. At over 120 euros a day, this accommodation is clearly……

“Don't be fooled by the pictures. This place is not well equipped or well managed. The furniture is really old and tattered, the rooftop had a great view, but the furniture was not adequate. The entire place smelled musty and was damp. The upstairs flooring is plank wood with no insulation. It was very loud. One small stovetop coffee pot for 5 people. No microwave. Too many more to mention. We've been to Salina many times and I can assure you that there are much better places for less money.”

“We loved the house under the carob tree and our stay on Salina. Our host was so accommodating and generous with his time and the fresh fruit from the fig orchard. The property was very clean, nicely designed and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a peaceful and dreamy place to take walks, watch the sunset and enjoy each other’s company this is so perfect!”
