Great location/charming cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay enjoying the most beautiful fall color right outside our door in the woods. Lovely walks in around the property as well as into the state park. It’s too bad that the Internet service is almost nonexistent, the barbecue was unusable as it only got to barely warm and the toaster didn’t work. These defects didn’t deter us from a truly memorable visit and we have only wonderful memories.

Ephraim Peninsula Park Woods Gem

This property is a block off of Hwy. 42, just south of the town of Ephraim, WI. The other direction is Peninsula Park access via bicycling or walking. We were so close to everything in the area, but in the woods for quietness. We loved our stay! Just FYI...internet access was sketchy.

Our kids and grandkids were camping at Peninsula State Park. This was the perfect place to be just close enough and not have to endure camping. Property is exactly as advertised, property manager is very responsive.

Great location, great place

Cottage was very clean, cleverly designed, and well-appointed. This is one of the best properties I have ever rented in terms of location, value and amenities. It is virtually in Peninsula state park as well as close to Fish Creek and Ephraim, but is off the main drag with a nice, secluded feel. I highly recommend this cottage and look forward to staying there again.

Perfect location!

This is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Door County, nestled near 3 of the best towns! This was ideal for shopping, bike-riding, heading to Washington Island, etc. The cabin is adorable and we enjoyed our stay. However, we did not give it a 5* rating due to these issues: could hear the neighbors closing cabinet doors at 6am due to a not very soundproof door connecting the duplex halves; updated coffeemaker necessary; and although we understand this is an older cabin that has been adorably renovated, it still smells a bit musty like an older cabin. Even with these minor issues, we loved our stay here and would gladly go again, but hopefully with people we know in the other half. :)

Extended weekend

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. It was nice and quiet without all the traffic of town. There was everything we needed for cooking our own meals, and the bed was very comfortable. The close proximity to Peninsula State Park was great!
