“This was an excellent property, including the outdoor deck, Pier, boat accommodations. The water depth in front of the camp is pretty shallow. And you have to idle quite a ways to get to a boat lane. It’s not a big deal, but it’s good to know ahead of time. We were there during football season, and the TV is left a little bit to be desired. They’re kind of small. The mattresses could use an upgrade, but we were only there for a few days so it wasn’t too bad. The kitchen and dining areas are……

“We are a large family that grew up with a camp at Toledo Bend and decided to celebrate Christmas this year over New Years and recreate some childhood memories and make some new traditions. “We had a great week away at the Lake House. The living areas in the house are large and the kitchen is enormous. We were able to prepare our Thanksgiving meal without any problems. I did not find the house to be as clean as the reviews said. All of the couches had been cleaned in place and there was dust and crumbs underneath. Another problem was the mosquitos when we arrived. The entire deck and front of the house was covered in mosquitos. We had to drive quite a distance to a hardware store……

“Water on the main lake was very rough. The floating dock was not accessible due to the waves breaking it. Overall great place to stay.”

“The host, Keith was very responsive, kind and helpful. We needed a great fishing charter and he pointed us in the right direction, as well as allowed us to book an extra night due to the hurricane hitting our home! The Lake bnb feels like home. Fully stocked kitchen (seasoning cabinet left my jaw dropped - had every seasoning you can think to use!) while cooking you have the best view. Comfy beds, Fully stocked bathrooms with the good toilet paper - not the 1-ply kind. The dock had a kayak and……

“We had an amazing Christmas family trip meeting here coming from 4 states and enjoying a marvelous retreat! Everyone had a wonderful time….the screen porch was delightful, fish were caught off the pier, plenty of beds to sleep in and cherished memories made!”
