The Moose Cabin sleeps 6 and offers a fun and cozy atmosphere with that rustic cabin charm. A queen size bed, cotton-soft bedding in the main floor bedroom is perfect to snuggle into after a day of hiking or exploring. There is also a queen size sofa sleeper, and queen bed in the Loft. The property has ample water supply which makes for a nice, hot shower at the end of the day. The kitchen comes well-equipped, and there is a gas grill on the covered deck. For relaxing at the cabin and eating in, there is a local, country grocery store in Fishtail 10 minutes from the cabin. There is a larger grocery store in Columbus about 30 minutes away.

Come seeking adventure? South central Montana won't disappoint! Experience the raging Woodbine Falls in Nye. Hike the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Area, Custer National Forest or the Beartooth Mountain Range. Wildlife abound including elk, moose, deer, mountain goats, big horn sheep, black bear, grizzly, mountain lions, wolves, and bald eagles often visit the area. Mystic View Cabins makes a perfect base location for a day trip to Red Lodge by way of the famous scenic Beartooth Highway.

If fishing is your Montana dream, the Stillwater River is known for some of the best fly fishing in the state. Minutes from our cabins check out Stillwater County's multiple fishing accesses.

I love this place. It was my second stay here, this time with a friend. She loved it also. The cabin is cozy; maybe a little tight for two unless you’re really good friends. It’s mostly about the location and the views. Neighborhood is very safe and friendly. Love walking the country road.

Delightful Cabin

This was our second visit to this property having stayed at the Deer last year. The Moose is bigger and worked out great for us. It's cozy, spacious and the location is perfect. JoBeth was very accommodating to our needs. Overall, we would highly recommend this great cabin.

This property was perfectly located for everything we wanted to do and had the most spectacular views of the mountains, rolling green hills, and stars. The cabin was comfortably furnished and outfitted with everything we needed. Coffee on a deck with a view is my favorite, and this location did not disappoint.

We had to miss a delay but got there for one night and it was so quiet and peaceful Beautiful views. Nothing like the song of the meadowlark So much to explore and see in the area. Easy to get to Tippet Rise to bike on Sunday. Wonderful, Thank you!

Beautiful View and Great Location

Cabin was cozy but had the amenities we needed for the short stay. The view was beautiful, WIFI worked and the BBQ did just fine cooking our dinner. If we end up going back to the area, we'll definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect!

This was, by far, my favorite VRBO. Everything was perfect for my solo stay with my golden retriever. If you want to get away from the crowd and stay in an area of stunning scenery, this is your spot. Sit on the deck in the evening and watch the deer and the stars come out. Dark skies and mountain views will make you want to stay forever. I’m am hoping to get back here someday soon.

The most amazing views

The cabin was very clean, the views were enough to make me want to sit on the back porch every chance I got. We went for hiking and there were so many amazing trails in the area. The property manager was nearby, very friendly, helpful, and had great hiking suggestions. The cabin had everything we needed, was comfortable, and an improvement since the notes is a fridge with a freezer is now in the kitchen. So convenient for trying Montana ice creams. If I go back to this area, I will bestaying here again.
