“Sehr sauberes, gepflegtes und gemütliches Häuschen an einem See in der Nähe des Fjords. Es gibt alles was man so braucht und der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und nett. Die Lage eignet sich für Hobby-Fischer - aber auch Wanderungen in der näheren und etwas entfernteren Umgebung sing möglich. Ein Auto wird benötigt, die Distanzen - also bis zur nächsten Stadt - sind norwegisch - etwas weiter.”

Die kleine Naerbuttik im Ort hat zwar begrenzte Öffnungszeiten, deckt aber den Grundbedarf ab. Im 45 Minuten entfernten Bjordal gibt es einen etwas größeren "Joker" - größere Supermärkte finden sich in Hoyanger oder Vikeroy, die man per Fähre erreicht . Vom……

“Our week in Viksdalen was unforgettable. The location is absolutely stunning—quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by natural beauty. The house was perfect for our two families, offering plenty of space and comfort. Everything was spotless, and the sound of the nearby waterfall added such a special charm. “A nice old house with enough space for us to stay. The house is old, but has everything you need to stay (although the washing machine is old, small and has low spinning so it takes some time to dry) and the wifi is poor. Lot's of opportunities for hiking in the area, and also to go with the ferry to the other side. The house is in Ortnevik (we thought it was in Bjordal) at the end of a road. Joar is a very friendly and helpfull guy, and is easy to reach. We recommend this house for a stay.”

“Five stars is not enough for the stone cabin in Ortnevik! The one bedroom cabin is so charming. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals and the bed is comfortable. The property is incredibly beautiful and there are interesting hikes right from the cabin. Just a quick walk away you’ll find an amazing wood sculpture garden that will blow your mind.
