Fleury is a seaside town that extends over more than 5,000 hectares and includes three village entities: the winemaking village of Fleury, the seaside resort of Saint-Pierre la Mer and the fishing and pleasure port of the huts of Fleury. The commune offers a wide variety of landscapes: 3,000 hectares of scrubland, 6 kilometres of sandy beach and the Aude River that crosses the territory for 9 km before flowing into the Mediterranean, 1,000 hectares of vineyards, 1,000 hectares of marshes, ponds and wetlands.
