“Lovely rural property, road is a little rough getting there, but very peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was perfect with an assortment of breads, fruit, delicious lattes, juices… The woman who was preparing breakfast was kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!”

“A little out of the way but very worth the extra drive - note that the road out to the guesthouse is gravel and the driveway is a bit steep. Lovely clean little house with a nice kitchen area, tidy rooms, and good bathrooms. Great views. Owners and other guests were very pleasant. We didn’t take advantage of purchasing meals but they looked very good. ”

“Fantastic accommodation. More than what we expected, It was spacious, very clean, amazing shower, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and a wonderful view. Very quiet and tranquil surroundings. You could even see Icelandic horses from the window. Host was very responsive and we had a great time. Would highly recommend.”

“The host Siggi, is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of Iceland. We talked with him over coffee and breakfast which was delicious and included BTW. Siggi is the third generation farming on his grandfather’s land in a beautiful area right about Malari beach. He was able and enthused to discuss Icelandic history, conditions since becoming a republic in 1944, and future prospects given its ideal location between Europe and North America. All in all, nice homey atmosphere and friendly……

“Un ensembre de 6 chambres sur la colline a 3,5km de la ville donc au calme. Chambre ni trop grande ni trop petite Coin cuisine ideal pour rechauffer des plats quand on n a plus envie de ressortir . Tout est bien fonctionnel pour un court sejour. ”

“It's a lovely guesthouse in a former school building, with a small room but a comfortable common area and a well stocked kitchen. Beautiful views of the fjord. The area is a bit isolated--just a tiny village, and it takes over an hour to get there from the main road by a steep winding dirt road. We hiked up the hill, but the trail isn't well maintained. It's a great place for peace and quiet, but not as a base for exploring the eastern fjords.”

“Rigtig fin til en overnatning. Elsker de havde køkken, hvor man selv kunne lave mad - det nød vi godt af! Vi havde dog ikke fået vores tjek ind oplysninger, men vi ringede bare til ejeren og hun var der inden for 2 minutter. ”
